The Pot Still is a Glasgow bar world famous for it’s whisky - patrons can get the classic 'pint and a nip' / 'half and half' (there are usually three or four real ales on, as well as keg beers/lagers) or just a whisky on its own. Over 800 bottles are on display on the gantry, and the staff will climb up ladders to get what you want - either stick to what you know or go rogue! The barstaff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and will help you find something you like - even if you don't currently think you like whisky. The bar, which started as a wine and spirits merchants in 1867, is one large room, with a raised area at the back, so it can get quite crowded (especially on weekends and in the evenings). Note that the only food served is a selection of hot pies.
