Things to do near the SEC

One of the easiest ways to get an overview of the city is to take a City sightseeing bus tour. A circuit takes 90 minutes, has 21 stops and you can get off at any stop, explore, then get another bus. Cost is £16 for one adult for a full day of travel, but we recommend the 2 consecutive day ticket for £17 for one adult. Discounts for families are available.

Glasgow Science Centre is just over the Millennium Bridge opposite the SEC. It’s full of things for the whole family to do and see, including interactive exhibitions, a planetarium and occasionally films are shown there on an IMAX screen. Exhibitions change frequently and booking for some events is advised.
