Glasgow’s restaurant scene has grown and improved considerably in recent years  — and originally the focus of this growth was in Finnieston, the area of Glasgow closest to the SEC - though it is much more widespread throughout the city these days.

This guide obviously cannot cover every place to eat in Glasgow. We've covered [[places_to_eat_in_finnieston|Finnieston]] pretty comprehensively, but further than that we'd rather provide a list of places we'd go out if we fancied a meal. We've arranged this by style of meal.
